π€π World Refugee Day 2026 ππ€
Today, Aitkenvale State School proudly joins communities across Australia in recognising World Refugee Day.
This yearβs Australian theme, βFinding Freedom: Diversity in Communityβ, celebrates the strength, courage and contributions of refugees who have found safety, belonging and opportunity in their new communities.
At Aitkenvale State School, we value and celebrate the rich diversity of our school community. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels connected, respected and included.
Together, we learn from one anotherβs stories, cultures and experiences, building understanding, empathy and a strong sense of belonging for all.
Aspirational. Inclusive. Resilient.
