⚽ While the world watches the beautiful game, one of the fastest athletes on Earth was raising a family in the rafters of BMO Field.

We’re honoured to be featured in The Globe and Mail for being part of one of the more unexpected stories to emerge from FIFA World Cup 2026.

Less than three weeks before kickoff, four peregrine falcon chicks were preparing to leave their nest in the rafters of BMO Field. Working alongside FIFA, the City of Toronto, Exhibition Place and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Hawkeye helped ensure the care of nest and chicks while preparations for the world’s biggest sporting event continued below.

Today, all four chicks have successfully fledged and are exploring the skies around Toronto.

We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in proving that conservation and world-class sport can coexist.

Because not every World Cup story happens on the field.
