Attended the Annual General Meeting of Antigonish Affordable Housing last evening with Councillor Juanita Pelly. It was encouraging to hear about the campaign now underway for the Sugarloaf expansion, which will create more than 50 new affordable housing units in our community. This is exciting news and an important step toward addressing local housing needs. Congratulations to everyone involved in moving this project forward!

Attention members of the public, if you experience delays beyond 15 minutes due to the construction on the east end of Main Street, please notify us. Our Town staff will assess the situation onsite and work closely with the site lead to find a solution as soon as possible. The delays yesterday were attributed to a stalled vehicle needing towing, rather than the construction activities.
