🌈🌿 Activate Your Medicine 🌿🌈
Join facilitators Rae Madge and Star Oldring from Fyrefly Institute for a powerful strength-based workshop that explores Indigenous teachings, understandings, and perspectives on medicine.
Together, participants will discover how the strengths, gifts, and knowledge they carry can serve as medicine for themselves, their families, and their communities. Come learn, connect, and explore the medicine within.
Youth Night will be hosted on June 17th from 6-8 PM at the Youth Building, 11821 123 Street NW, Edmonton, AB.

Together, we raised an incredible $7,130, with $3,565 going to the lucky winner and $3,565 being contributed to the Métis Education Foundation Endowment Fund.

How do you carry Métis traditions into your everyday life? ✨
In honour of National Indigenous History Month, we want to feature Métis youth who are keeping culture strong in modern ways. Submit a photo, video, story, artwork, or project that shows how you blend traditional Métis knowledge with life today!
Maybe you:
🪡 bead earrings, hats, or clothing
🌿 harvest traditional plants or medicines
🗣️ use Michif words or greetings
🎨 create art inspired by your culture
🎶 share music, dancing, cooking, or other traditions
No matter how big or small, we want to see how culture is part of your life! Selected submissions will be featured on our socials, deadline is June 18th!
Please note: we will be focusing on Métis Youth submissions but all Métis are welcome to submit as well!
