π¨ TICK REPORTS SURGING IN CANADA: Confirmed tick reports have skyrocketed by 38.5% so far this year compared to the same period in 2025, driven by climate factors and changing wildlife populations.
Reports of blacklegged and western blacklegged ticks, the species that can transmit Lyme disease, are also reportedly up by 35.2%, creating an increased risk across multiple provinces.
