At Tamkeeny, vocational training goes beyond transferring technical skills. The project is designed to foster a supportive community where women can learn from one another, exchange experiences, build confidence, and grow together.

By creating spaces that encourage connection and peer-to-peer learning, we continue to see how learning becomes more meaningful — extending beyond the training itself and into lasting relationships and opportunities.

Janette’s experience reflects this impact. What began as a learning opportunity became a space where she found support, belonging, and a community she felt she could always return to.

في تمكّيني، التدريب المهني مش بس وسيلة لنقل المهارات التقنية، لكنه كمان مساحة مقصودة لبناء مجتمع داعم تقدر فيه السيدات يتعلموا من بعض، يشاركوا خبراتهم، ويبنوا ثقتهم بنفسهم سوا. ومن خلال خلق بيئة تشجع على التعلّم المتبادل والتواصل، بنشوف إزاي أثر التعلّم يمتد لأبعد من التدريب نفسه، ويخلق علاقات وفرص تستمر مع الوقت.

وتجربة جانيت كانت واحدة من الأمثلة اللي جسّدت الأثر ده؛ رحلة بدأت بتعلّم مهارة وتحولت لمساحة لقت فيها دعم وانتماء ومجتمع تحس إنها تقدر ترجعله دايمًا.

Since the start of our B2B journey, we’ve worked with 63 clients, fulfilled 100+ orders, and produced over 75,000 products; all while creating opportunities for 120 women across Cairo, Ismailia, Marsa Matrouh, and the Red Sea.

Through 8 different crafts, we continue to connect local craftsmanship with real market opportunities — building products that are locally crafted and socially driven. 💚🩵

من بداية رحلتنا، اشتغلنا مع 63 عميل، ونفذنا أكتر من 100 أوردر، وانتجنا أكتر من 75,000 منتج — وكل ده بمشاركة 120 سيدة من القاهرة، الإسماعيلية، مطروح، والبحر الأحمر.

For Laila, the trainings were more than learning technical skills. They became a space for creativity, confidence, and self-expression through production.
