The Nadi Town Council is pleased to inform all residents that the frequency of the Return & Earn Initiative has been increased to provide greater convenience and more opportunities to recycle and earn.

🗓 Collection Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

📍 Venue: Nadi Town Council Depot

Bring your bottles and cans and earn 5 cents per container while helping to keep our community clean and environmentally friendly.

We encourage all residents to take advantage of the additional collection days and support this valuable initiative.

Nadi Town Council encourages all residents to make use of the Return & Earn Centre located at the Council Depot.

Bring along your empty bottles and cans and help keep our community clean while earning 5 cents for every eligible container returned.

Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm

Please be advised that due to the Public Holiday on Friday, the Return & Earn collection scheduled for Friday will instead be conducted on Thursday 28th May. Saturday 30th May collection will continue as normal.

We kindly request all participants to bring in their recyclable items on Thursday 28th May for collection.

Return & Earn Initiative ♻️

Please be advised that the Return and Earn Initiative services will not be provided on the 15th and 29th of May, 2026 due to Public Holiday.

All services will be provided on the next day (Saturday).

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding and continued support towards recycling and environmental sustainability.

We are pleased to inform you that the Return and Earn Centre will be resuming operations from 17th April.

Please also note that the collection services will be carried out on the 18th April.

Following the impact of Cyclone Vaianu and the recent power disruptions, Nadi Town Council have been carrying out thorough inspections and continuous monitoring of all supermarkets, butcher shops, and eateries within our jurisdiction.

These inspections are focused on ensuring that all meat and perishable food items meet strict health and safety standards. Any spoiled or unsafe products have been removed and disposed immediately to safeguard public health.

We urge all businesses to remain compliant with food safety regulations and to prioritize the quality and hygiene of products being sold.

Residents are also advised to remain vigilant when purchasing meat and report any concerns to the Council.

Nadi Town Council will be providing the disaster green waste shredding services following TC Vaianu from 13th to 24th April 2026.

Ratepayers are kindly requested to place only green waste responsibly and follow the guidelines outlined in the notice below.
