Connect4Life (C4L) C4L provides contemporary resources for churches and individuals to reach out to unconnected and disconnected friends.

The inspirational materials for discipleship and outreach are all based around the connection metaphor – ‘connection brings life’. Using 21st century language about the connection that brings identity, value and purpose, these resources dovetail into short feeder events for other courses like Alpha, Christianity Explored and Freedom in Christ. You can use selected elements or run it as a church programme for discipleship and outreach.

"Dear Jesus, I want whatever it is my parents have. Amen."
Growing up surrounded by dramatic, "Damascus Road" conversion stories, Stephen Gaukroger admits he used to feel a little jealous that his own faith journey started with a simple, theologically imperfect prayer at just seven years old.
But here’s the beautiful thing: God answers all sorts of inadequate prayers. Whether your story is a dramatic turnaround or a quiet, lifelong walk, every single journey is valid in God's eyes.

“Dear Tilly,

Thank you for trusting me with something so raw and painful. The depth of your distress shows how seriously you take your walk with God and how much you long for peace. In a strange way, that’s a hopeful sign — it means your heart is awake, not numb, and you know this jealousy has held you far too tightly for far too long.”

It takes immense courage to admit when a hidden struggle is robbing you of your joy. In this beautiful and honest pastoral letter to Tilly, Oggy unpacks the destructive wildfire of jealousy, the trap of sibling comparison, and how anchoring our identity in Christ’s love is the only true pathway to relational healing.

Ever feel like your spiritual battery is sitting at 2%?

We try to busk it on good intentions, wondering why a stressful week leaves us completely drained. But staying spiritually charged isn't about a religious performance - it's about staying connected to the right things.

In our latest guest blog, Stephen Gaukroger, Founder of Clarion Trust, breaks down his brilliant, down-to-earth "Three-Pin Plug" framework for staying grounded, overcoming cynicism, and keeping your faith from drifting.

If you’re tired of running on empty, this one is for you. Read the full post via the link below!

In this guest post, Ian reflects on what it means to trust God when the outcome is uncertain; drawing on a deeply personal journey that includes serious illness, a life-changing encounter with mortality, and a quiet but enduring assurance of God’s presence, Ian shares how his faith was shaped over 25 years.

This is not simply a story about healing, but about discovering that whether in life or in death, God is with us, and that His presence brings a joy far deeper than circumstances.

At some point in the spiritual journey, almost every believer faces a daunting question: “Is it okay that I don’t see things the same way I used to?”

For many, this realisation feels like a crisis of faith, but as Oggy explores in this heartfelt response to a reader named Jon, change isn’t always a sign of wandering, it can be a sign of maturing.

Whether your perspective is being reshaped by life’s “wilderness” seasons or being refined by a deeper understanding of Scripture, the direction of that change is what matters most.

From the course-adjustments of the early apostles to the diverse landscape of the modern Church, discover why a shifting perspective might actually be God’s way of clearing away the rubble to reveal a firmer foundation.

We’ve all heard that “marriages are made in heaven,” but in the messy reality of dating and heartbreak, that can feel like a distant cliché.

For one man in his mid-30s, the cycle of “senseless, mismatched relationships” had led to a place of worry and exhaustion.

He realised that even being a strong Christian didn’t automatically guarantee compatibility. In this vulnerable testimony, we explore what happens when you stop trying to “make it work” through your own efforts and instead surrender your search to God.

By anchoring his hope in the promise of John 15:7 and literally dating his prayer on a computer file, he set off a chain of events that eventually connected him with a woman on the other side of the world - proving that when we trust the “Author of Marriage,” He can orchestrate connections that defy distance and protocol.
