At Second City Housing, we hold a food bank every Thursday at 3pm to support those in need within our local community.

We offer a range of essential food items including tinned food, fruit and vegetables, pasta, cereal, milk, and more!

Please note that the types of items available vary each week, and we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.

ROOMS AVAILABLE - Supported Accommodation (£30 per week)

We currently have spaces available in a 5-bedroom shared house, for individuals aged 18+ who are in receipt of benefits, for just £30 per week.

This safe and comfortable home features:
4 spacious en-suite rooms
1 additional bedroom with its own private bathroom
Fully furnished
Shared kitchen area that's professionally cleaned on a weekly basis
Central heating
Fresh bedding
No bills

Each tenant also receives:
An allocated supported worker
Weekly counselling sessions
Budgeting and financial management support
Access to local food banks
Access to essential services (GP, healthcare, etc.)
and more, for £30 per week!

October 10th is World Homeless Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about those who have lost their homes - something that should be a basic right, not a privilege.

In 2024, we housed 1,195 people and changed 1,195 lives for the better. We don't just provide a safe place to live; we also offer personalised support plans, tailored to our tenants' needs and aspirations, weekly counselling sessions, debt management and budgeting support, access to local food banks, and more!

Our goal is to continue making a positive difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness and to help address the rising number of people without homes in the UK.
