🔴 Media Preparations Finalized for Covering Regay Azadi’s Demonstrations Against the Looting of Customs Revenues
Tonight, Aziz Hama, Media Coordinator of the Regay Azadi Organisation, held an extensive meeting via Telegram with the organisation’s camera crews and media teams to finalize preparations for covering a series of protest demonstrations scheduled to take place across four cities in the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the final technical and media guidelines were discussed to ensure high-quality coverage of the protesters’ central message and to deliver it effectively to international media outlets, political institutions, and human rights organizations worldwide.
The demonstrations will be held under the slogan:
“No to the Looting of Customs Revenues Under the Shadow of Dual Administration and KDP–PUK Partisan Entrenchment”
The Regay Azadi Organisation stresses that while the people of Kurdistan continue to suffer from severe economic hardship and the denial of basic rights, revenues generated from border crossings and customs points—resources that should be used to fund salaries and public services—are being systematically diverted to serve partisan and private interests.
This movement represents a peaceful civil and national effort to demand transparency, accountability, and proper oversight of public financial resources, while also conveying the voices of dissent inside Kurdistan to international institutions and British public opinion.
The demonstrations are scheduled to take place simultaneously on Monday, 22 June 2026, at 1:00 PM in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow.

Notice from the Regay Azadi Organisation to the Kurdish Community in Britain
Dear compatriots and lovers of freedom,
At a time when the people of Kurdistan are living under the harshest conditions within their homeland, with their most basic rights stripped away, the revenues of border crossings and customs posts, which should serve as a source of salaries and public services for citizens, are being openly plundered and diverted to serve private interests under the shadow of the dual administration and partisan entrenchment of the KDP and PUK.
We at the Regay Azadi Organisation consider silence in the face of this injustice and this entrenched situation to be unacceptable. We therefore call upon all members, compatriots, activists, and national voices of the Kurdish community in Britain to participate in a nationwide protest demonstration under the slogan:
