Roasting day.

Some days are all spreadsheets, emails and deliveries. Today is one of the good ones.

A day spent in the roastery, loading green coffee, listening for first crack, making small adjustments, and trying not to smell like coffee for the rest of the week (which never works).

A few hundred kilos later, the roastery is warm, the cooling tray has had a workout, and there’s a fine layer of coffee chaff absolutely everywhere.

Time for a well-earned brew before doing it all again tomorrow. ☕🔥
