Morning everyone,

What were everyone's thoughts on the game last night?

I thought in the second half we were excellent.

Kane brilliant helps when we have runners when he drops deep. No debate on the number 6 position Anderson was excellent as well.

My only worry would be the reliance on injury prone Stones and James to make it through a tournament injury free.

How far can we go?

The Faded Footsteps Haunted World Cup.

Next up is Croatia.

The Island of Daksa, located just off the coast of Dubrovnik, has a reputation as one of Croatia's most haunted islands. This dark folklore stems from a tragic event in October 1944 when Yugoslav Partisans rounded up and summarily executed dozens of suspected N**i sympathizers, including the city's mayor and local priests, without trial.

• The "Daksa Massacre": Between 48 and 53 men were executed by firing squad and left in unburied mass graves.

• Unsettled Spirits: The bodies remained hidden for over 60 years until a forensic exhumation in 2009. Because the victims were denied a trial and a proper burial, local fishermen's tales claim the island is roamed by angry, restless spirits seeking justice.

• Abandoned Atmosphere: The island, which also houses an overgrown 13th-century Franciscan monastery, is largely avoided by locals and passing boats.

The Faded Footsteps Haunted World Cup

Next up is Egypt

The Baron Empain Palace Egypt.

widely considered one of Egypt's most famous "haunted" locations. Its striking Hindu-temple-inspired architecture and decades of abandonment fueled enduring local urban legends about the property.

The reputation of the palace as a supernatural hotspot stems from several tragic events and tall tales:

•The Baron's Wife: Legends claim that the Baron's wife fell to her death from the palace's spectacular revolving spiral staircase, and her spirit is said to wander the halls.

• The Baron's Daughter: Locals whisper that the Baron's daughter, who allegedly suffered from mental health issues, was found dead in a basement chamber.

• Paranormal Sightings: Eyewitness stories over the years include reports of mysterious music playing, furniture moving on its own, and the ghostly apparitions of the former residents seen wandering the lawns at midnight.

The Faded Footsteps Haunted World Cup

Next up is Germany

The most famous Michaelskapelle (St. Michael's Chapel) with a dark and fascinating story is located in the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Oppenheim Germany.

The vault holds the skeletal remains of approximately 20,000 former residents who died between 1400 and 1750.

In the Middle Ages, the cemetery surrounding Oppenheim's town church was remarkably small. Oppenheim was a bustling trading hub frequently impacted by wars, famines, and disease, leading to a high volume of deaths
To make room for new burials, older graves were regularly exhumed. Rather than destroying the bones, they were reverently blessed and organized into neat stacks inside the crypt of the Michaelskapelle.
The Paranormal Beliefs: Local folklore attributes the haunting energy to the sheer number of restless souls whose resting places were disturbed.

Locals and caretakers often share chilling experiences, and visitors have reported feeling sudden drops in temperature and an unsettling sensation of being watched when near the bone chambers.
