These murals in Stourbridge celebrate the town’s rich musical legacy and the artists who helped put the Black Country on the map. From the indie energy of The Wonder Stuff and Ned’s Atomic Dustbin to the pioneering heavy metal sound of Diamond Head and the genre-defying creativity of Pop Will Eat Itself, their influence can still be heard across the globe today.
Created as part of the ‘Stourbridge: Home Of’ project, these striking artworks were brought to life by local artist Cal, capturing the creativity, character and cultural spirit that continue to define the Black Country.
