Aligned with the global theme, "Innovation, Trust & Sustainability: The Power of Accreditation," the event highlighted the critical role of accreditation in enhancing export competitiveness, enabling ease of doing business, strengthening regulatory convergence, and fostering sustainable growth.
Through insightful keynote addresses, expert-led webinars, and engaging discussions, participants explored how accreditation continues to build confidence, drive innovation, and strengthen Bharat’s quality infrastructure.

In his welcome address at the World Accreditation Day 2026 celebrations, Shri Ramanand N. Shukla, CEO, NABL, reflected on the growing importance of trust in an increasingly innovation-driven world.
He emphasized that while innovation continues to reshape industries and societies at an unprecedented pace, trust must remain the foundation of progress. He further highlighted the role of robust accreditation systems and collective stakeholder efforts in building the ecosystem of trust required to power a Viksit Bharat.

In his address at the World Accreditation Day 2026 celebrations, Dr. Sandip Shah, Chairman, NABL, highlighted the critical role of quality infrastructure in strengthening India's manufacturing competitiveness and export readiness.
He emphasized the need to expand access to quality infrastructure across the country to reduce compliance costs, improve access to testing services for enterprises, and support smoother participation in domestic and global markets. He also spoke about NABL's ongoing efforts, in partnership with DPIIT, the Ministry of MSME, and industry cluster associations, to expand accredited laboratory infrastructure across India's manufacturing ecosystem. Highlighting the transformative role of technology, he noted that NABL's fully digital accreditation ecosystem and digital self-assessment tools are enabling laboratories to evaluate their readiness, improve efficiency, and accelerate their quality journey.
