COV project- unique project by IWC Noida Horsemanship with special needs children
Inner Wheel Club Noida did a unique project on Horsemanship with special needs children. The project was done in the presence of Mrs. Deepika Bali, District Chairman
Horses are sentient beings and it is scientifically proven the electromagnetic waves within 20 meters of a horses radius automatically induces the "happy" hormone are relaxes the nervous system.
This workshop is not only about horseriding, it is about understanding yourself through the horse.
During the workshop special trainers conducted series of activities that revolve around the horse under the supervision of eqeustrians. The activities teach prople to trake a leap of faith and learn how to communicate with horses safely and confidently. Working with horses develops emotional, physical and psychological skills that translate into everyday life - it is not only about Horsemanship but about partnerships.
When it comes to differently abled children or adults, AARWA Stables provides not only a safe space to connect with this sentient being but also helps them build their social skills. Since horses respond to non-verbal cues as well, this helps people understand social boundaries.
Horses naturally provide rhythmic movement and consistent sounds and smells that initiate sensory regulation.
The interaction with a horse in the workshop helps with hyperactivity, restlessness, stress and difficulty sitting still.
