MSME DFO Guwahati attended the inaugural ceremony of the Livelihood Business Incubation Unit-2 implemented by Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore - IIPMB located at its extension Centre at TRA, Tocklai Experimental station, Jorhat on 12-May-2026.
The setup of the unit and installation of equipments were sponsored under the ASPIRE Scheme of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India with the objective to impart skill development for promoting entrepreneurship sector with special focus and employment generation in agro-rural on rural and underserved areas.

Vishwakarmas shining in Goa.✨

Glimpses from the recently held Tribal Craft Expo 2026 in Goa, where Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant interacted with a PM Vishwakarma beneficiaryand appreciated the initiative’s impact in empowering traditional artisans and craftsmen.

At the International Day for Biological Diversity event, he also interacted with another PM Vishwakarma beneficiary who showcased innovative bamboo products, highlighting how sustainable bamboo crafts contribute meaningfully to biodiversity conservation and a greener future.

MSME DFO Guwahati participated in the PNB Mega MSME Outreach Programme on 27-04-2026. The programme was inaugurated by Sh. J.B. Ikka, Addl. Chief Secretary, Govt. of Assam and Sh. Gaurav Joshi, Director, MSME DFO Guwahati.

The programme concluded with the distribution of loans to MSMEs of Assam.
