It is no longer news that traders at Kent Street Market , Mosque Street Market , Asa Road , Hospital Road , Azikiwe Road , Etche Road , Pound Road Market, Ehi Road Market , Pound Road , Cameroon Road Market , Market Road Market and Jubilee Road have been ordered by the Abia State government to relocated to suitable and government approved markets and malls.. This was because the menace is not compatible with the rebuilding and re-juvenation Aba initiative by the Executive Governor of Abia State , Dr Alex Chioma Otti . Indeed this is a welcome development as many Abians have applauded the government for the initiative.
