Crowds Welcome Senator Tambuwal Back to Sokoto
Sokoto South Senator and former governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, on Thursday, received a grand homecoming as residents trooped out in large numbers to welcome him following his recent encounter with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Footage posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) page showed jubilant supporters lining the streets, waving and cheering as his convoy entered the city.
In his message, Tambuwal expressed deep gratitude for the reception, saying:
“I am deeply grateful to the good people of Sokoto for the warm reception and outpouring of love upon my arrival in Sokoto this afternoon. This is one honour among many that I cherish and will never take for granted.
