Speaking during the presentation, ASF II Akinsuroju emphasized that a regimented environment relies entirely on strict adherence to rules, uniform conduct, time consciousness, and absolute respect for authority. He noted that operational readiness in emergencies is a direct byproduct of individual and collective discipline. "An order is not a suggestion; it is a lawful direction that ensures coordination and efficiency within a regimented system," Akinsuroju stated.
The presentation comprehensively detailed the core responsibilities of both superior officers when issuing orders and subordinates upon receiving them. Key operational standards highlighted include maintaining proper dressing and hygiene as ambassadors of the Service, ensuring rapid response to emergency calls, maintaining total elimination of distractions at duty posts to ensure 24/7 readiness, and fulfilling the mandatory requirement for subordinates to report back and confirm the completion of assigned tasks.
Reacting to the presentation, the Operational Commander, Superintendent of Fire Ajayi Somi Joshua, commended the Command Provost Marshall and his team for the high level of discipline they have successfully instilled within the command.
