Every literate Nigerian should download these Laws:
• The Nigeria Tax Act, 2025
• The Nigeria Tax Administration Act, 2025
• The Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Act, 2025
• The Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Act, 2025
So as to avoid being gullible and talking like market women. (Them say... Them say).

The law as written might not be uprightly clear and might need professional interpretation to a lot of us who are not professional but at least every Nigerian who went to school should make effort to be enlightened and stop following the bandwagon. Other politicians who's interest do not align might use propaganda mislead their constituents regarding this matter.

For this same reason of misconception, misleading and gullibility, the House of Representatives, National Assembly on January 3rd 2026 released the Certified True Copies (CTCs) of the Acts, including the endorsement and assent pages signed by the President, following public concerns and allegations regarding purported alterations and the circulation of unauthorised and misleading versions of the laws. The Four Tax Acts were released for Public Records due to inconsistent versions of the tax laws in circulation after a vigilant Honourable Member identified discrepancies, raised the alarm, and formally reported the matter to the House on a point of privilege.

In a bit we'll start witnessing people talking about their new year resolutions, some will write it on paper and drop it on the alter to be prayed for and to the extreme some will gather it and burn as though offering sacrifice unto the Lord in the days of Elijah.

In my opinion, I think no one should stress themselves making newer New Year resolution, if they did not smash or achieve that of last year. If there must be a resolve it should be achieving the past resolution.

Progress and achievements are not just by making resolutions or writing on paper and bringing to the alter, it is by consistently working on clear and tangible goals.

Also goals are not bound or limited by the periods between January-December alone. Real goals should transcend even into years ahead (future).
