THE FUTURE OF OUR DEMOCRACY IS BRIGHTER WHEN YOUNG PEOPLE ARE NOT MARELY REPRESENTED BUT ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN SHAPING IT
Today, 11th June, 2026, the leadership of ADC Youth Mandate, Kaduna State Chapter, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Committee of ADC Ward 05 in a meeting characterized by productive discussions, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to strengthening grassroots political participation.
During the engagement, the Ward Executives, ably led by Abdullahi Isah (Aje Adawo), highly commended the vision and objectives of ADC Youth Mandate, particularly our commitment to youth mobilization, leadership development, and grassroots engagement. They emphasized that youth participation in politics and governance remains paramount and non-negotiable, noting that young people possess immense potential and continue to play a critical role in the progress of our democracy and the development of our nation.
The Executives also expressed appreciation for our strategic focus on engaging structures at the ward level, recognizing the ward as the closest link to the grassroots and the foundation upon which sustainable political growth and community development are built.
Furthermore, they assured us of their continued support, guidance, and collaboration in achieving the objectives of the movement. We were equally encouraged by their commitment to integrating ADC Youth Mandate into ward activities while also extending their support to initiatives and programs championed by the movement.
We sincerely appreciate the warm reception and valuable insights shared during the meeting. Together, we remain committed to building a stronger, more inclusive, and youth-driven political future for our communities, Kaduna State, and Nigeria at large.

WHY THE ZANGON KATAF/JABA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY SHOULD SUSTAIN THE ROTATIONAL PRINCIPLE THROUGH ENGR. SETH BAKUT
Since 1999, our two Local Government Areas have upheld a rotational system of leadership. This arrangement has served as an important democratic mechanism for promoting fairness, unity, inclusiveness, and mutual respect among the people of Zangon Kataf and Jaba.
Where two Local Government Areas constitute a federal constituency, maintaining a rotational system of leadership helps ensure that no section feels marginalized or excluded from governance. It creates a sense of belonging and strengthens the bonds that unite our diverse communities.
One of the greatest benefits of rotational leadership is the promotion of equity. By allowing leadership positions to alternate between the two Local Government Areas, every community is afforded the opportunity to contribute to decision-making and development. This builds trust, encourages participation, and reduces political tension.
As we approach another important political season, it is necessary to reflect on the values that have sustained our constituency over the years. Supporting Engr. Seth Bakut is not merely about supporting an individual; it is about sustaining a principle that has strengthened unity, promoted inclusiveness, and ensured balanced representation within the Zangon Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency.
In conclusion, maintaining the rotational principle is more than a political arrangement—it is a commitment to fairness, equity, unity, and sustainable development. It guarantees that every segment of our constituency has a voice in governance and an opportunity to contribute to our collective progress. Therefore, all stakeholders and citizens of Zangon Kataf and Jaba LGAs should continue to support and uphold this noble principle for the greater good of our people.
