Today, the Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith led by the Director General Barr. Tahir Umar Tahir and his management team received an audience from the National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON) Kaduna State Chapter.
The purpose of the visit is to pledge their support to His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kaduna State Sen. Uba Sani, CON for his inclusive style of leadership and hail his commitment towards uniting the good people of the state in achieving peace and prosperity.
Furthermore, the Forum appreciates His Excellency for the massive projects ongoing across the State.

A flow of Commendation & Accolades
Today, the Director General Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith Barr.Tahir Umar Tahir received a special visit from Muslim Association of Visually Impaired of Nigeria (MAVIN), Kaduna State Chapter at his Office Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna.
The purpose of the visit is to commend His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Sen Uba Sani CON for his unwavery support to physically challenge citizens, they also praise the administration of His Excellency for the style of inclusivity agenda, whereby every citizens is carried along.
Subsequently, the visitors highlighted some of their recent achievements to DG, They participated at the National Conference and 20th Anniversary in Jigawa State, where they returned home with Five Awards as the highest state that received awards at the conference.
Consequently, they return with the position of National Treasurer.
Meanwhile among them, a visually impaired female participated at International Qur'anic Recitation competition at Indonesia, where she became Third.
However, the DG applauds their remarkable achievements, he continue to assure them that the administration of Gov.Uba Sani will continue to give them support and assistance wherever needed.
At the end, the DG received award of merit towards his dedication and government support to their association.

Yesterday, The acting Director Religious Affairs Islamic Matters, Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith Mal. Tahir Baba Ibrahim. represented the Director General Barr. Tahir Umar Tahir at the Reconciliation Meeting on the petition made by the Board of Trustee of Abu Ubaidah Bn Jarrah Mosque on the Removal of Imam. Alhamdulillah His Royal Highness and the Zazzau Emirate Council resolved the matter mutually.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
It has come to the attention of the Commission that certain unscrupulous individuals, operating through fraudulent travel agencies and fake social media accounts, are falsely claiming to have the authority to facilitate the procurement of Hajj visas, despite the official closure of visa issuance by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 1st Shawwal 1447 (20th March 2026).
The Commission successfully secured visas for all eligible intending Pilgrims registered for the 2026 Hajj before the deadline of 1st Shawwal 1447 AH.
The general public is hereby advised to note the following critical information:
1. Suspension of Visa Issuance:
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially concluded the issuance of Hajj visas and has also imposed a temporary suspension on several visa categories, including tourist, work, and family visit visas.
2. No Alternative Visa Options:
Hajj cannot be performed using tourist, Umrah, or work visas. The only valid authorisation is a designated Hajj permit, obtainable strictly through official channels.
3. Strict Penalties:
Saudi authorities have stipulated severe penalties for any individual found performing Hajj without a valid Hajj permit, including:
• Imprisonment for a term of up to six months;
• A fine of up to SAR 20,000 (approximately N8.15 million); and
• Deportation, accompanied by a ban on re-entry into the Kingdom for a period of ten (10) years.
4. Authorised Channels Only:
Members of the public are encouraged to seek information on Hajj regulation from the National Hajj Commission or any of the States Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Boards/Agencies/Commission's. All Hajj registrations are conducted exclusively through the Nusuk platform and facilitated only by duly approved authorities. Members of the public are further strongly advised not to make payments to any individual or agency offering "guaranteed Hajj visas" through unofficial means. The Commission urges vigilance and encourages the reporting of such fraudulent activities to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
