BARR AJIBOLA NURUDEEN LAWAL-AKAPO’s PACT WITH HIS CONSTITUENTS

Just as the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections draws near, The Leading Aspirant, for the position of Honorable Member representing Lagos Island Constituency 1,Barr Ajibola Nurudeen Lawal-Akapo granted Best Option Media an interview ,

“I WILL PRIORITIZE YOUTH,WOMEN,ELDERLY EMPOWERMENT AND POVERTY ALLIVIATION” - he said

Barr Ajibola made this statement in a chat with the Best Option Media today after picking the Party's Nomination form on Friday.

He stated that people are the most valuable assets of a state. thus, their welfare and Human capacity development must be given topmost priority by Government and/or its representatives.

Barr Ajibola further spoke on his keen interest to providing quality representation for the people of Lagos Island Constituency 1 at the Lagos Assembly, by ensuring they get a fair share of infrastructural projects in the scheme of things.

He also promised to use his influence, reachout and capacity to empower youth and women, then alleviate poverty level by engaging them in productive schemes.

He went further to state that although the core responsibilities of legislators are to make laws, perform oversight functions and pass the budget but in this part of our world, we know that a lawmaker must perform some quasi-executive functions, which he is ready and capable of doing.

He opined that without people, there is no state and without a state, there can be no Government, thus, this is why he is determined to grow representation, add greater value and bring about more positive transformation to bear in Lagos Island Constituency 1.
