The school was established in September,1983 by the administration of Alh. Lateef Jakande. The school then comprised of forms 1 to 5. The initial students population was 271(142 boys,129 girls). The school was split into Senior and Junior school on October 29,2002. The School occupies a 2-storey block of classrooms, Laboratories and offices. The school has 16 teaching and 2 non teaching members of staff and a population of 462 students. Famous past pupils/Students:

Omowunmi Ayanwunmi - 2004 Gold Medalist in Spelling Bee Zonal Competition;
Oghale Oviego - 3rd Position in 2006 Zonal schools Debate for children's day;
Innocent @daddyfresh9jaOnyebuchi Michael (Asiwaju of AJ Music): A popular veteran dancehall Singer and music writer. Wasiu Lawal (Wesley): A member of Black Reverendz (Ayangba) Musical Duo with Shuaibu Adams (Shobb2). Club & Societies
