Some praised the statement as a bold, revolutionary move to invite the UK and China into the conflict to aggressively mediate the border dispute. This narrative misinterprets both international law and the PM's actual diplomatic scope. Shah wasn't calling for a third-party tribunal, he was physically seeking historical 1827 and 1834 colonial maps from London archives to act as legal evidence for Nepal during future bilateral talks. Furthermore, the MEA India's swift response firmly reiterated that international mediation is completely off the table, signaling that any attempt to aggressively externalize the dispute only delays actual bilateral progress.

And Some aggressively claimed that B***n Shah compromised Nepal's national sovereignty by admitting to Nepal encroaching on Indian territory framing it as a betrayal of Nepal's claims over Kalapani or Lipulekh. This is false. As both Nepal's Foreign Ministry and India's MEA subsequently clarified that Shah was referring to the highly specific issue of cross-border occupation in river-border areas (like the shifting Gandak River) where changing river paths have historically caused farmers both sides to accidentally cultivate land belonging to the other country. It was an admission of a localized agrarian reality not a concession of sovereign geopolitical territory.

He still believes that people still believe in him. His ultra-nationalist image of 2015-16 has been completely drained by his ultra-draconist image of 2024. Speaking to the people after nearly 3 months from his crushing defeat in March 2026 elections itself proves how embarrassed he is.

All those on the UML side, you cannot take out UML from the national political scenario this is a fact, but you can definitely take out a man from the scene.

And all those on the Oli side, 74 people died during his authority. He needs to slow down. He needs to show empathy. He needs to show that he cares for the people also, not just his ideals. Re-arrange his public relations if you want him in the centre stage. Nowadays he looks messy, frustrated and dumb as hell not any 'raajneta' to commoners.

4. Sidewalk and Poor-Free Cities: Removing the poor and slum dwellers made the city look beautiful; now, disappear them from the state’s data entirely so that no one can ever raise a question again.

5. Question-Free Governance: No matter what the President, the opposition, or the Constitution says—implement a system where whatever our man says becomes the absolute, final law.

नागरिक उन्मुक्ति पार्टीका संरक्षक रेशम चौधरीले सन् २०१८ देखि २०२३ को बीचमा लगातार करिब ५ वर्ष ३ महिना जेल जीवन बिताए।

सन् २०१५ को टिकापुर घटनापछि उनले २६ फेब्रुअरी २०१८ मा कैलाली जिल्ला अदालतमा आत्मसमर्पण गरे। उनलाई जिल्ला, उच्च र सर्वोच्च अदालतले जन्मकैदको सजाय सुनाएका थिए। तर, गणतन्त्र दिवसको अवसरमा २९ मे २०२३ मा राष्ट्रपति रामचन्द्र पौडेलबाट आममाफी पाएपछि उनी डिल्लीबजार जेलबाट रिहा भए।

३० अप्रिल २०२५ मा सर्वोच्च अदालतको आदेश कार्यान्वयनका क्रममा उनलाई काठमाडौंबाट पुनः पक्राउ गरी डिल्लीबजार जेल पठाइएको जानकारी सार्वजनिक भएको छ।

Resham Chaudhary, patron of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, spent approximately 5 years and 3 months in continuous prison custody between 2018 and 2023.

He surrendered to the Kailali District Court on February 26, 2018, following the 2015 Tikapur incident. He was subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment by the District, High, and Supreme Courts. However, on May 29, 2023, he was released from Dillibazar Jail after receiving a presidential pardon from Ram Chandra Poudel on Republic Day.

On April 30, 2025, he was reportedly arrested again in Kathmandu to enforce a Supreme Court order, returning to Dillibazar Jail.
