The local government unit (LGU) of Conner has taken its first step toward the digitalization of its processes. As part of this initiative, staff of the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), together with the Local Civil Registrar's Office (LCR), Municipal Treasurer’s Office (MTO), and Public Information Office (PIO), participated in a week-long training workshop on March 16-19, 2026. The training aimed to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills in preparation for the implementation of the eLGU System.

This system will streamline key services, including business permit registration, electronic issuance of Community Tax Certificates (Cedula), and online requests for birth, death, and marriage certificates. The workshop also covered the development of an official LGU website to further enhance public service delivery and accessibility.

PUBLIC ADVISORY

In line with Memorandum Circular No. 144, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the President directing government agencies to implement energy conservation measures while ensuring the continuous delivery of public services, the Local Government Unit of Conner will adopt a Compressed (Four-Day) Workweek effective March 16, 2026.

The Municipality of Conner, Apayao will once again conduct its annual Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) through the Business Permits and Licensing Section (BPLO) of the Office of the Mayor for the registration and renewal of business permits.

This initiative aims to streamline and simplify business permit applications and promote ease of doing business, as all concerned regulatory offices will be conveniently located in one area and ready to serve you, including:

BPLO, Municipal Treasury Office, Municipal Assessor’s Office, Rural Health Unit, MENRO, MPDO, MEO, DTI, BIR, and BFP.

Schedule: January 5–30, 2025
Venue: First Floor, Municipal Building Hall
Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Days: Monday to Friday (excluding Saturdays and Sundays)
