Students and faculty from the MCU College of Medical Technology participated in the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆.

The program provided meaningful academic and cultural exchange experiences, further strengthened by a meeting with HCU’s Vice President for Academic Affairs to explore expanded collaboration across MCU programs.

Centralinos delivered an excellent performance in the March 2026 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination.

𝗗𝗿. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗹, Dean of the MCU College of Medical Technology, has been elected as 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 of the Philippine Association of Schools of Medical Technology and Public Health (PASMETH).

𝗠𝗿. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗥. 𝗗𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗮, faculty member of the MCU College of Medical Technology, has also been elected as 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗛.

𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 from the MCU College of Medical Technology, for the successful publication of their Scopus-indexed research article titled “𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱-𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮” in Frontiers in Microbiology (Vol. 16, 2025 | Q1 Journal).

Their study explores how flooding impacts infectious disease transmission and antimicrobial resistance across Southeast Asia, highlighting the 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 in strengthening public health preparedness.
