This month, we proudly celebrate Social Workers’ Month, a time to recognize the selfless service, compassion, and resilience of those who tirelessly advocate for the vulnerable, empower the disadvantaged, and bring justice where it’s needed most.

With this year’s theme, “Tibay at Pagkakaisa ng Salinlahi Gamit ang Talino Husay at Kalinga Para sa Pagpapanatili ng Kagalingang Pantao.”, we shine a light on the incredible impact social workers make in the lives of individuals and families. From crisis intervention and mental health support to community development and child protection — social workers are the lifeline of a more humane and just society.

So let us applaud their courage, dedication, and the deep empathy that defines their work. Let us take this opportunity to say: Thank you, social workers — you are the heart of social change!
