Through DOST-TAPI’s SPICE Program, in collaboration with DOST-PROPEL Program, these startups are bringing practical, innovative, and globally competitive solutions to the international stage—building new partnerships, exploring market opportunities, and accelerating the growth of Filipino technologies beyond our borders.

Recognized as one of Europe’s premier technology gatherings, London Tech Week 2026 brought together more than 30,000 attendees from over 100 countries, creating opportunities for innovators from around the world to connect, collaborate, and scale globally. Filipino startups proudly stood among this international community demonstrating the Philippines’ growing presence in the global innovation ecosystem.

𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗼: 𝗔𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻

Drawing from his extensive experience in academia and the publishing industry, Dr. Justine Itugot decided to shift his focus to advancing e-learning and educational innovation.

In efforts to help reduce the administrative workload of teachers, he founded and developed Cerebro—an integrated school management system. Cerebro provides access to four portals addressing concerns of school administration, teachers, students, and parents. It also features a content library with curriculum-aligned digital lessons and learning materials.

What began in the UST-TOMASInno Center is now an EdTech platform used by more than 100 schools across the Philippines.

A beneficiary of DOST TAPI’s Expanded Venture Financing (EVF) and SPICE programs, Cerebro was one of the featured Filipino technologies at the GITEX AI Asia Singapore 2026.

For quite some time, Alvin Phoebe Artemis Valdez worked for the gaming and construction technology industries until he had some sort of an epiphany. When he saw his father’s hard work on their farm and the inefficiencies that came with the traditional methods, he chose to go back to his roots.

Driven to help farmers increase their yield while reducing their workload, Alvin soon developed Farmesto—an IoT greenhouse automation platform equipped with smart sensors that precisely measure and predict nutrient dosages for crops.

Farmesto is live and operational in several greenhouses in Tagaytay and Quezon. Other beta prototypes are also deployed in Guimaras and Mindoro.

A beneficiary of DOST TAPI’s GALING and SPICE programs, Farmesto was one of the featured Filipino technologies at the GITEX AI Asia Singapore 2026.

Farmesto Technologies Inc. introduces an IoT platform for precision farming, providing accurate and real-time data for optimal crop health and maximum yield.

Through DOST TAPI’s SPICE program, Farmesto was featured in the GITEX AI Asia Singapore 2026 alongside innovations from 110 countries.
