International Students Cultural Event held on the 6th day of May, 2026 at Batangas State University

The president of NANS Philippines ZONE — Comrade BKC was in attendance to celebrate the cultural heritage of Nigerian Students.

The President delivered an address with the topic: The Strength of Cultural Identity In a Global Community. He talked about cultural diversity and the need to embrace and respect the cultures of the Philippines inclusively, to promote peace, harmony and unity in diversity.

He said, "diversity should never divide us. Instead, it should unite us and strengthen our global community."

Let cultures be respected, honoured and cherished as part of our identity for the goodwill of all.

I want to assure you that under my leadership as President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Philippines Zone Inc., every challenge faced by our students in the Philippines will be addressed with sincerity and determination.

We have already met and dialogued with the Nigerian Embassy, and together we are working to ensure that the welfare, rights, and concerns of Nigerian students are given the attention they deserve. This administration stands firm on the pillars of unity, transparency, and progress.
