In Line with the National Cancer Survivor Month, the NBI-CTD creates a Foundation which will provide financial assistance, especially for the prevention of cancer and their treatment to those qualified NBI Employees who is currently battling Cancer.
This Foundation aims to provide financial support for the prevention and treatment of cancer. It's goals and objectives is to extend help to our employees who are struggling to fight cancer, by encouraging them to go back to living their lives, spending more time with their loved ones and doing the things that they enjoy. People with cancer can still live, love and laugh and most especially can start a new beginning with their lives.
The Late Chief Manguerra was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer also known as Colon Cancer. He was battling cancer for years and underwent series of treatments and surgery.
