⚡🔥 AC ENERGY: TRAINING THROUGH THE STORM 🔥⚡

From May 28 to 29 and June 4 to 5, Rotronics Rescue Corp. had the privilege of conducting AC Energy's Annual Advanced Firefighting Training, reinforcing the skills and preparedness of their emergency response team.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the participants remained committed and determined throughout the program. The rain did not dampen their spirits—it only fueled their hunger to learn, sharpen their skills, and strengthen their capabilities as responders.

This year's program was further enriched by the participation of joiners from the SM Group, represented by Fire Director Carlito S. Romero, Ret., OIC BFP, as well as members of Orveen Fire and Rescue Brigade, Inc. The presence of professionals from various organizations created an excellent environment for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and the exchange of best practices in emergency response.

Y’all thought Rotronics only handles industrial emergency response teams? That’s where you’re wrong! Last May 18 to 19, for the second straight year, Rotronics Rescue Corp. proudly conducted the Basic Firefighting Training for UST Campus Safety and Security Office!

As the frontliners and protectors of one of the country’s most historic educational institutions, continuous training and preparedness play a vital role in creating a safer environment for every Thomasian.

The program focused on fundamental firefighting principles, fire behavior, extinguisher operations, hose handling, emergency response, and hands-on practical exercises designed to strengthen the team’s confidence and readiness during actual emergencies.

☣️🔥 ROTRONICS’ BIGGEST TRAINING INITIATIVE YET 🔥☣️

Starting from the 3rd Quarter of 2025 up to the 1st Quarter of 2026, Rotronics Rescue Corp. proudly trained 240 personnel of Petron Bataan Refinery through our HAZMAT Specialist Training focusing on Benzene and H2S response.

The program was conducted almost weekly at the refinery, with scenarios and exercises tailored specifically to actual plant operations, hazards, and possible emergency situations within the facility.

In firefighting, it’s usually “go, go, go!”
But in HAZMAT incidents, it’s “woah, woah, woah!”

Hazardous materials response requires critical thinking, proper hazard assessment, and disciplined decision-making because many of the dangers cannot be seen by our naked eye. In some cases, even a few parts per million (PPM) exposure can already become a life-and-death situation.

Before the training even started, Rotronics closely coordinated with Petron’s Technical Training Team and Safety Team to ensure that every scenario, exercise, and discussion would be aligned with their operational realities and refinery hazards.

And after the program, the feedback spoke for itself. Participants shared that this was one of the most important and eye-opening trainings they had gone through, and we are proud to share that Petron has confirmed the continuation of the program again this year.

🔥🚒 SAN MIGUEL GLOBAL POWER ALL THE WAY — LIMAY POWER PLANT THIS TIME AROUND! 🚒🔥

Last May 13 to 15, San Miguel Global Power – Limay Power Plant tested both their knowledge and grit through a customized, NFPA-aligned Advanced Firefighting with High Angle Rescue Training.

The program challenged participants through realistic emergency response scenarios involving firefighting strategies, rescue operations, rope systems, and working under pressure in high-risk environments.

At Rotronics, we believe that training should go beyond classroom discussions. Through hands-on and scenario-based exercises, responders develop not only technical skills, but also confidence, teamwork, leadership, and decision-making during incidents.

Every second counts. Preparation and continuous training are essential to help teams respond efficiently and effectively when incidents occur.

🔥🚒 HYBRID TRAINING? WE GOT YOU! ONSITE + OFFSITE TRAINING EXCELLENCE 🚒🔥

Last May 6 to 9, Rotronics Rescue Corp. successfully conducted an Advanced Firefighting Training focusing on Coal Fire Intervention for San Miguel Global Power’s Mariveles Power Plant. The program was conducted through a hybrid setup, with two days held at the Rotronics Training Facility followed by an actual simulation day at the Mariveles Power Plant site.

Coal-fired power plants present unique and high-risk fire hazards due to the presence of combustible coal dust, conveyor systems, confined spaces, and the possibility of deep-seated fires that are difficult to extinguish. These incidents can rapidly escalate and affect both personnel safety and plant operations if not handled properly.

One of the biggest advantages of conducting controlled simulations at the client’s actual facility is the ability to train responders using realistic scenarios based on their operational environment, equipment, hazards, and emergency response limitations. This helps teams become more prepared for actual incidents that may occur within their site.

🚨⚡ INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM – TEAM LEADER TRAINING WITH ABOITIZ POWER ⚡🚨

Last April 28 to 30, Rotronics Rescue Corp. hosted Aboitiz Power’s Incident Command System (ICS) – Team Leader Training.

Although this program is not as physically demanding as our usual firefighting and rescue trainings, it is one of the most crucial programs for plant and emergency operations. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making during critical incidents can greatly affect the safety of personnel, operational continuity, and overall emergency response effectiveness.

At Rotronics, we assess risks based on your operational environment and develop training programs tailored to your team’s actual challenges and response requirements. Our goal is to help organizations build safer, more prepared, and more efficient operations.

Last May 13 to 15, Rotronics Rescue Corp. proudly joined the Lakeland APAC Distributor Conference, representing the Philippines as Lakeland’s strategic partner in the region.

During the conference, Rotronics Rescue Corp. was honored with the Innovative Partnership Award in recognition of our commitment to advancing firefighting, industrial safety, and rescue solutions in the Philippines.

We also had the privilege to connect with our neighboring ASEAN partners, exchange ideas, and discuss how we can continue developing the safety and emergency response industry together.
