History has been made at National Assembly of Pakistan!
Under the Digital Nation Pakistan Vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the National Information Technology Board (NITB) and the National Assembly of Pakistan jointly inaugurated Pakistan's First AI-Enabled Parliamentary System, a landmark moment in the country's journey towards smart, transparent, and efficient governance.
Inaugurated by Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, this initiative marks the beginning of a new era for Pakistan's legislature, where Artificial Intelligence meets parliamentary democracy.
This AI platform is built entirely on-premises with full data sovereignty, now powers the Speaker's Office with capabilities including:
• Semantic Search
• Bill Summarisation
• Sovereign Infrastructure
• Speech & Brief Assistant
• Legal Reference Extraction
• Smart Meeting Management
This is not just a technology launch, it is Pakistan's commitment to a Parliament that is modern, accountable, and built for the future.

A major milestone has been achieved as the Federal Minister for IT & Telecom Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and the CEO of NITB Mr. Faisal Ratyal, visited China for the signing ceremony of a Comprehensive Strategic Framework between the Government of Pakistan and Alibaba Group.

The Cabinet E-Portal is now live!
Marking a significant milestone in , the Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Commercial Transactions (CCoIGCT) has been fully digitized to promote faster coordination, enhanced transparency, and more efficient decision-making.

𝐀𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡, another significant milestone achieved under the Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP), Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom (MOITT), with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Information Technology Board and Pakistan Single Window.

Through this collaboration under DEEP, both organizations will work toward strengthening Pakistan’s digital ecosystem by promoting:
