Requirements
Education / Qualification: B. Com / BBA, preferably doing CA or ACCA
Experience: Minimum 2 years working in a CA firm or BPO or in any reputable company
Skills: Working knowledge on MS Excel, Words and Power point etc.,
Working knowledge on accounting software / ERP, such as MS Dynamics 365
Accounting knowledge, financial statements, concept of Debit and Credit & IFRS
Job Description
• Prepare and post accounting transactions into the accounting software online, and ensure these are reported in accuracy.
• Prepare Bank reconciliation statements.
• Manage account payable, payment vouchers online payments etc. and aging
• Manage account receivable, receipt vouchers etc. with aging
• Prepare accrual entries and adjustment entries of advances and prepayments.
• UAE VAT filing
• Work closely with Senior team members to assist them with the month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management
• Manage Fixed Assets module in the system and initiate monthly depreciation entries in the system
• Collect physical inventory reports along with system balances operation department and analyze variances.
• Other finance related works as and when instructed by the seniors.

K-Electric has announced a planned power shutdown affecting 41 of its 2,129 feeders across Karachi on April 15, 2026, due to maintenance work on transformers in various areas.

According to KE, the work will be carried out at different locations between 8:00 AM and 12:00 AM, resulting in temporary electricity disruptions for residents. The utility stated that consumers may face load shedding ranging from 2 to 16 hours depending on their area.

These outages are part of system maintenance efforts aimed at improving long-term power supply reliability and infrastructure stability.
