Today, we honor and remember the brave servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and unwavering dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

This weekend, Precinct 2 staff attended the Veterans Memorial dedication at Julian Feild Park in Mansfield, a powerful tribute to the men and women who answered the call to serve and defended our nation with honor.

Precinct 2 staff and I attended the employee preview of the newly renovated Tarrant County Sheriff’s Training Academy.

We enjoyed a tour of the updated facility led by Cpt. Brittain, Lt. Morris, and Sgt. Williams, and had the opportunity to observe future officers as they completed their state exams.

The renovated academy includes updated classrooms, testing areas, and modern training spaces designed to better prepare recruits for service in Tarrant County.

Thank you to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office for the opportunity to tour the new academy and learn more about the training process for future officers.
