Have you ever served on a Grand Jury?
Grand Jurors play a vital role in our justice system by reviewing evidence, hearing testimony, and determining whether probable cause exists for certain criminal cases to move forward.
While they do not determine guilt or innocence, their service helps ensure fairness, accountability, and confidence in the judicial process.
Today, we thank the citizens serving on the Grand Jury for their time, dedication, and commitment to justice in Rockdale County.

Joshua, Ethan, and Shinfei of Emory University School of Law recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the Supreme Court of Georgia as part of their internship experience with the Rockdale County District Attorney’s Office.
During the visit, the interns presented oral arguments, gaining valuable firsthand experience in appellate advocacy and courtroom presentation.
As part of the experience, members of our office participated in mock Supreme Court roles to help create an authentic appellate argument setting for the students.
Experiences like these help bridge classroom learning with real-world legal practice as we continue investing in the next generation of legal professionals.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this a successful and memorable day.

Behind every courtroom moment, meeting, and busy day, I’m still “Mom” — a proud mother of 4. 💙
Motherhood has taught me that love shows up in the little things: the sacrifices, the long days, the hugs, the prayers, and simply being present.
So much changes over time, but the love stays the same.
To every mother balancing family, work, and life while still showing up with love every day — I see you.
Happy Mother’s Day. 💐✨
Alisha 💙🫶🏾
