Cobb County Tax Commissioner Carla Jackson is an elected, constitutional officer responsible for billing, collecting, and disbursing ad valorem taxes, as well as administering homestead exemptions. Additionally, the Tax Commissioner serves as an agent for the state of Georgia for registration and titling of motor vehicles and disbursement of associated revenue.

EXCITING NEWS 🎉

The Cobb County Tax Commissioner’s Office is pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 Cobb County Property Tax Estimator, coinciding with the mailing of the 2026 Notices of Assessment by the Cobb County Tax Assessors Office.

The enhanced online tool allows taxpayers to receive an estimated 2026 property tax bill amount based on the property’s current assessed value and the 2025 adopted millage rates. Designed to be simple and user-friendly, taxpayers can search by parcel ID, property address, or owner name with no additional information required.

Age 65 or older?

You may qualify for an emissions exemption!

Seniors 65+ can apply if their vehicle meets both of these requirements:

• The vehicle is 10 model years old or older
• It is driven fewer than 5,000 miles per year

You may apply for this exemption either through Georgia’s Clean Air Force online form or through one of our local tag offices!
