Search and Rescue has a pretty legendary history. 🏔️
Long before high-tech GPS trackers or advanced radios, Swiss monks in the 1700s realized that St. Bernards had an incredible natural knack for finding travelers buried deep under the Alpine snow.
The gear has changed a lot since then, but the core mission—and the unmatched power of a dog’s nose—remains exactly the same.

Meet Jax, one of our trailing K9s in training! With a mix like that, he’s got the best of both worlds: a world-class sniffer and the high-speed energy to back it up.
He’s currently learning how to tune out the distractions of the world and follow a single scent line straight to the target. Judging by that happy, determined face, he’s absolutely loving the job!

Never underestimate the power of a hound nose (or the speed of those legs!). 🐕🔍
Ember is out here proving that you don’t have to be the biggest dog on the team to be an absolute powerhouse on the trail. Trailing requires immense focus to ignore all the distracting forest smells and stick to one specific scent line, but Ember makes it look easy.

Welcome to Search and Rescue in the modern age. With "waypoint navigation," our drone operators can map out a precise grid search before the drone even leaves the ground. Once it’s up, the drone does the flying entirely on its own, scanning the area with incredible accuracy.
In fact, our advanced drone, Pegasus, takes autonomous flight a step further. Equipped with professional-grade thermal imaging and AI tracking, Pegasus can lock on and automatically follow specific teams on the ground to keep everyone safe and coordinated.

That is the unmistakable sound of Team Varya making a successful find! As an Area Search K9, Varya’s job is to sweep huge sections of wilderness, sniffing the wind to pick up any human scent in the area.
When she catches it and tracks it down, she lets the whole forest—and her handler—know loud and proud. There is absolutely no hiding the joy of a job well done!
