This Friday, we're excited to welcome Scott Strickland to Local & Live at the Austin Visitor Center.

Originally from Houston with deep roots in Nacogdoches, Scott has become one of Austin's most compelling singer-songwriters, blending rock, pop, and folk into a sound that is both powerful and deeply personal. His songs explore love, heartbreak, resilience, and redemption, delivered with the kind of authenticity that makes every performance feel like a conversation.

His debut album earned praise from the Austin American-Statesman, which called "L.A." the best song and video to come out of Austin in 2022. Since then, he's performed everywhere from ACL Live at the Moody Theater to stages across the country and internationally, building a reputation as an artist whose music isn't just heard, it's felt.
Now he's bringing that same storytelling and energy to an intimate Local & Live performance.
