🌱Calling all FWES Farmer Families! The teachers, students, and parent volunteers at Farmington Woods were busy this spring transforming our garden into what can only be described as a future vegetable superstar. 🌞🥕 Right now it's full of promise... and a few w**ds plotting their takeover.

We need your help this summer!

Join us for a gardening session to w**d, plant, and harvest some amazing produce. No farming experience required - if you can tell the difference between a tomato plant and a garden hose, you're qualified. 😉 A garden volunteer will be there with guidance and answers to questions. Best of all, every harvest is donated to the NeighborUp Food Pantry in Cary.

Come dig in, get a little dirty, and make a big difference! 💚

We know you're already dreaming about pool days and sleeping in, but before we get too deep into summer mode, we have to take one more look back at an incredible last week of school!

📖 We proudly honored our retired principal, Mrs. Pierce, with this year's yearbook dedication - a small way to celebrate her huge impact on a generation of students and staff.

🎓 We welcomed back our FWES alumni who are now graduating seniors and getting ready to walk the big stage. Seeing how far they've come is one of our favorite traditions!

🎉 We cheered on our amazing fifth graders at their promotion ceremony and family picnic as they prepare for their next adventure in middle school.

🍦 And after the hallways got quiet, we treated our hardworking staff to fresh-scooped ice cream for making it through another fantastic school year. Because if anyone earned an extra scoop, it was them!

What a week. What a year. Have a wonderful, safe, and relaxing summer, FWES family. We'll see you in August! 💙💛

We’re in the final week but we still need some extra hands!

📚 Mrs. Zaccardi needs help Monday and Tuesday afternoon checking in and re-shelving the approximately 1,000 library books that are still wandering the halls living their best lives.

🪑 We also need help Tuesday afternoon setting up chairs for the 5th Grade Celebration.

If you have an hour (or two) to spare, please take a look at the sign-up list and volunteer if you can (and are WCPSS approved). Your time makes these last days of school run a little smoother.
