♻️This week, Lincoln County recognizes the dedicated employees of Solid Waste and Recycling who work every day to keep our community clean, safe, and environmentally responsible.

Our team includes 37 employees at the landfill and 26 employees serving the community at 7 convenience sites throughout the County. These employees provide an essential public service EVERY day of the year, we only close the sites FOUR days out of the whole year.

Last fiscal year:
-950,045 resident visits to our sites! 👏
-41,851.37 tons of solid waste managed
-6,873.25 tons of yard waste processed

We also provide recycling at some sites.
-850 tires
-271.75 tons of glass
-552.66 tons of cardboard

Splash Pads update!

Splash Pads Update: June 18, 2026
We are hoping to soon open Betty's Ford Park Splash Pad and the West Lincoln Park Splash Pad. Our crews are checking the systems now to ensure they are working properly before opening them to the public.

Lincoln County's IT team is looking for its next AV & Video Security Systems Support member!

This position provides technical support for Lincoln County's audio/visual and video security systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting A/V issues, maintaining existing systems, designing new systems (Level III), and training staff on A/V equipment.
