Thank you Kathi for donating your time to our Bessemer City Primary students! Congratulations on being named a Paul Harris Fellow.

🎉 We are so proud to congratulate Reading Soul Mate volunteer Kathi Riley on being named a Paul Harris Fellow by The Rotary Club of Gastonia!

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition honors individuals whose contributions, or contributions made in their name, support the humanitarian and educational programs of The Rotary Foundation. In a beautiful gesture of friendship, fellow Reading Soul Mate Marcia Scheideman honored Kathi by contributing in her name, and then had the joy of presenting the recognition herself.
Kathi gives so much to the students at Bessemer City Primary every week. It's wonderful to see her generosity of spirit celebrated in such a special way! 📚❤️

Wow. What an incredible gift for H H Beam Elementary!

City Church - Gastonia NC didn’t just match a $10,000 grant — they more than tripled it, raising an amazing $32,000. Combined with the grant, that means $42,000 to support students and staff at H.H. Beam.

These funds will help with campus improvements, student planners, classroom teacher grants, and more. A special thank-you to Principal Beth Crosby for her leadership and to everyone who made this possible. Watch the video below to see the check presentation and the excitement firsthand!
