๐Ÿ’› BIG ANNOUNCEMENT ๐Ÿ’›

We are so excited to announce that 1st Priority Homecare and the 1st Priority Cares Foundation are teaming up with the Area Brain Injury Association (CABIA) to launch a Community Caregiver Support Group! The group will meet monthly, every third Tuesday of the month.

Caregiving can be overwhelming, and too often caregivers carry so much on their own. This group will offer a safe, supportive space to connect, share experiences, find encouragement, and gain helpful resources, because those who give care deserve care too. ๐Ÿ’

๐Ÿ“… First Meeting: Tuesday, June 16, 2026
๐Ÿ•• Time: 6:00 PM
๐Ÿ“ Location: Family Justice Center

๐Ÿ“ž Call (423) 208-4435 for more info

Letโ€™s go!

Beginning May 8th in Chattanooga, Tennessee...the Chattanooga Strawberry Festival takes center stage, making for a full weekend of strawberry deliciousness and fun here in the Volunteer State! Held at Camp Jordan Park, this two-day event is one of the areaโ€™s top spring happenings, running May 8thโ€“9th with both indoor and outdoor spaces filled with things to do. You can pick up fresh, locally grown strawberries from MBโ€™s Produce & Farms, then enjoy all kinds of sweet treats like strawberry shortcake, strawberry funnel cakes, and more from a wide mix of food trucks. There are over 150 vendors set up, along with a car show and free rides on a trackless train moving through the festival grounds.

Families will find plenty to keep kids busy, from a petting zoo and inflatables to up-close animal encounters throughout the day. One of the biggest draws is the live chainsaw carving shows by Charlie the Chainsaw Bunny, where detailed wood pieces are created right in front of the crowd. You can also catch Twiggy the waterskiing squirrel, a crowd favorite that always gets people talking. For adults, the strawberry funnel cake eating contest is a must-see. The festival runs Friday from 2โ€“7 PM and Saturday from 10 AMโ€“6 PM, and it takes place rain or shine! Come on out and enjoy this fun event in TN just two weekends from now!

Hi friends!

One of my goals is to give you a little peek inside some of the amazing things happening in Senior Living communities around our areaโ€”and this is a perfect example.

This chair fitness class takes things to a whole new levelโ€ฆ fitness drumming on exercise balls! ๐Ÿฅ Itโ€™s creative, energizing, and honestly just looks like a whole lot of fun. Proof that staying active can also mean laughing, moving to music, and enjoying the momentโ€”no matter your ability level.

If you ever see something I share that you (or a loved one) would like to try, just reach out. Iโ€™d be happy to help you get connected and join in! ๐Ÿ’›
