Last day of May. First step of care.
The awareness posts slow.
But somewhere in North Texas, a neighbor is one conversation away from getting help.
The Center's counselors will be back at their partner sites on Monday. Showing up, the way they always do.
If you've been meaning to give, today is the day.

He stopped the rehearsal because he was "getting too sad walking in these shoes."
Drake Thomas was leading children in a Bible story presentation at a summer camp when a boy stopped everything.
The character he was playing got abandoned by the people closest to him. It was too close to his own story.
That moment became a live group conversation about self-regulation, empathy, and what it feels like when emotions get too big.
"Watching this young man empathize, then practice his own regulation, was truly impactful to me." — Drake Thomas, LPC-Associate
