Join us tonight at 7 to celebrate this campaign to build an Iowa we can be proud of.
I launched this campaign 237 days ago today. Every day since has been an incredible journey of meeting thousands of you and pitching my ideas for building an Iowa that we can be proud of. From the very beginning, I made a commitment to you and to my opponents to focus our campaign on the issues that matter—things like being able to drink the water without worrying about if it’s giving us cancer, investing in working families by raising our minimum wage and lowering the cost of healthcare, housing, and childcare, and looking out for every Iowan in our state instead of punching down at the most vulnerable. On the final day of this primary election season, I’m renewing that commitment to you as my closing argument. A vote for me is a vote for a leader who cuts through the noise and delivers real results. That in mind, I thought it would be a fitting close out to repost my launch video again today— thank your support, Des Moines.

One of the most humbling parts of running for office is seeing wonderful, talented, and passionate people pour their time into your campaign. Today we dropped 2,500 handwritten postcards in the mail to voters in district 33. I am so grateful to have a campaign powered by volunteers who live in our district. Their endorsement of me through their countless hours of calling, writing, and knocking on doors is what will put us over the finish line on June 2. In one week, this election will be over, but I will always be most proud of having inspired new people to engage in the democratic process. Thank you, volunteers.

From day one of this campaign, I made a commitment to show up and to do the work to earn your vote. In the several months since, I have put in the work to build a campaign powered by Iowans in House District 33 who want to live in a state that we can be proud of. From clean water and cancer prevention to helping working families not just get by, but get ahead, Iowans have made it clear that this campaign is the winning one. Vote Cody on June 2 in the Democratic primary election.
