Today we said farewell to Chief Master Sergeant Marty Castillo and thanked him for his dedicated leadership and service to the Jungle Skippers.

We also proudly welcomed Chief Master Sergeant Brian Castillo as our new Wing Command Chief and look forward to the experience and leadership he will bring to the wing.

Today we remember and honor the bravery of Allied Forces as they commenced the liberation of Europe on the Normandy shores of France, 6 June 1944.

Proud of our 317th Airmen, who were graciously presented the Philippine Military Merit Medal by Lt Gen Aristotle Gonzales, Commander of Nothern Luzon Command, Armed Forces Philippines.

Members of the 40th Airlift Squadron were honored for their meticulous work in planning takeoff and landing data calculations, re-surveying the landing zone, and executing the 1st ever C-130 landing on itbayat Island, along with executing High Mobility Artillery Rocket System Rapid Infiltration (HIRAIN).

317 Airlift Wing executes Specialized Fueling Operations at La-lo Airfield allowing the U.S. Marines and the Armed Forces of the Philippines to sustain forces in Nothern Luzon.

The 317th Airlift Wing partnered with U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) to successfully airlift a HIMARS missile pod into Palawan, Philippines, demonstrating seamless joint integration and precision tactical resupply capabilities.

On the return leg, aircrew from the 40th Airlift Squadron executed a low-level formation flight through the Luzon Strait.

The 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment and the 317th Airlift Wing conducted Navy-Marine Interdiction System (NMESIS) insertion at Itbayat and Batan Island, Philippines during Balikatan 2026.
