Proud of our 317th Airmen, who were graciously presented the Philippine Military Merit Medal by Lt Gen Aristotle Gonzales, Commander of Nothern Luzon Command, Armed Forces Philippines.
Members of the 40th Airlift Squadron were honored for their meticulous work in planning takeoff and landing data calculations, re-surveying the landing zone, and executing the 1st ever C-130 landing on itbayat Island, along with executing High Mobility Artillery Rocket System Rapid Infiltration (HIRAIN).

The 317th Airlift Wing partnered with U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) to successfully airlift a HIMARS missile pod into Palawan, Philippines, demonstrating seamless joint integration and precision tactical resupply capabilities.
On the return leg, aircrew from the 40th Airlift Squadron executed a low-level formation flight through the Luzon Strait.
