Frisco’s Rotary Club worked with Play Frisco to install their second peace pole in town this morning, this one at Frisco Commons Park. On each side of it, it shares the message of “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in a different language. This one has English, Spanish, Telugu, and Korean. A special thank you to the students who participated in speaking the phrase in the different languages for those who attended.

The parking garage is now open to the public! There’s now an easy way to go visit the Rail District, park, and enjoy multiple merchants in a centralized location.

We've got you covered! The City of Frisco’s new, 5-story downtown parking garage is OPEN! Located at the northeast corner of Elm and 3rd Streets, the new garage provides 450 free public parking spaces for The Rail District. Find four charging station spaces for electric vehicles on the first floor. Access the garage from both Elm and 3rd Streets. Thank you to our local Scouts, VFW, and American Legion for hosting Flag Day. After a brief ceremony on the history of Flag Day, we proceeded to retire flags received. In case you didn’t know, our local Scouts help to properly retire American flags once your flag is worn. Contact your local Scout troop for more info.

Frisco attempted to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records as a part of our kick off to the World Cup activities. And we succeeded! Thanks to everyone who came out to help place soccer balls in the giant “2026”. It was great to see the positive energy and have some fun!

Public Meetings | Frisco, TX - Official Website 06/03/2026

Public safety is one of the core principles we govern by. When people come here with intent to cause fear, anger, or hostility to our city, it cannot be tolerated. We are limited in what we can do, and this is a lever we needed to use.

I also want to publicly thank the Frisco Police Department for handling multiple tense situations last night with cool heads. Most of the people were from outside, but it did sadden me to see a few people from our community participate in such a hateful display. I pray we can stay a community with open hearts and minds, and respect with our neighbors.

Please reach out if you need support from your Council members. As always, we are here to listen and support the people within our community.

Firefly Park broke ground today on what is going to be a specular development. With 45 acres of parkland intertwined within, it’s going to be a beautiful area.
The ceremony today reflected on the incredible work Frisco has been doing to build a prosperous, thriving, and engaged community. It was heartwarming to hear our partners share in the vision we see for Frisco, today and in the future.
