🌷🌼Congratulations to Shenandoah's June Yard of the Month winners, Jay and Julie Mathena, on Avalon Oaks Ct!

The Mathenas have called Shenandoah home for 20 years and have created a beautiful yard filled with native plants and inspired by an English garden style. Julie does all of the gardening herself and even incorporates rainwater harvesting into the landscape.

Did you know the City of Shenandoah requires all solicitors to obtain a permit through the Shenandoah Police Department before conducting door to door sales or solicitation?

As part of the permit process, applicants must provide identifying information and pay a fee. As of now, there are only 5 active solicitor permits. Permitted solicitors may only operate between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

If someone is soliciting in your neighborhood and cannot provide a valid City of Shenandoah solicitor permit, please contact the Shenandoah Police Department non-emergency line at 281-367-8952.

If calling after hours, please select the option to speak with a person. Leaving a voicemail does not allow officers to respond promptly.

The Mary Pat Case Pool is officially open for summer hours! The pool is open every Tuesday-Sunday, from 11a-7p. The pool is closed every Monday for cleaning.

Concessions are available for purchase by card at the pool. Cash is not accepted.
