Join Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee, Inc. volunteers & 2/11 Marines Saturday, June 27 for the City of Irvine Summer Concert featuring 4 Lads from Liverpool, The Beatles tribute band

Rock out, dance, and disco at family-friendly concerts all summer long. Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge transforms into a live, outdoor venue featuring a variety of music genres. Concerts begin at 5:30 p.m. Guests can bring picnic-style treats or purchase snacks from local food trucks.

All Summer in the City events are free (no tickets or pre-registration required). Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests should bring low-back chairs and blankets; layered clothing is recommended. *Additional parking available at Woodbridge High School and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Friday, June 19 is the deadline to sponsor a flag in honor or memory of a military hero!

Together in partnership with the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee, we are hosting the Field of Valor — America 250 event from July 1–31 at the Irvine Civic Center Lawn.

Each American Flag displayed across the lawn is sponsored in honor or in memory of a veteran or active-duty service member.

Community members are invited to submit a sponsorship request by Friday, June 19, and we encourage all in our community to visit the flag display throughout July in honor of those who have served our country.

Today, we celebrate and recognize the U.S. Navy Corpsmen who have stood alongside our for 128 years.

Since June 16, 1898, Navy Corpsmen have embodied the spirit of . From naval hospitals to the battlefield, they remain always faithful, treating our wounded and keeping Marines in the fight.

To the in our ranks, we thank you for your unwavering dedication to duty and to our Marines.
