Last week, our very own CDCPS alum, Lyahnnette Morales, was crowned Miss Massachusetts Teen 2026! We are incredibly proud of Lyahnnette and all that she has accomplished. ๐
Throughout the school year, Lyahnnette has become a familiar face in the very classrooms she once attended. From reading aloud to our ELC students to working with our 4th graders and presenting awards to students who completed her "Tap Into Your Greatness" program, she has made a lasting impact on our school's community.
It has also been an incredible experience for our students to learn from someone who once walked the halls of CDCPS and is now representing Massachusetts on such a big stage. Lyahnnette serves as a wonderful example of what is possible for our students, showing them that with hard work, determination, and confidence, there are no limits to where their journey can lead after CDCPS.
Lyahnnette will go on and represent Massachusetts at Miss America Teen this August! Please join us in congratulating her and supporting her in raising funds for educational scholarships and heart research with the AHA GO RED x Miss America collaboration!

Thank you to all of the families who joined us for our Health and Wellness Block Parties for our three campusesโProspect, Gateway, and Webster. It was wonderful to see so many students, families, staff, and community partners come together to celebrate the end of another amazing year!
We are especially grateful to the community organizations that spent time with our families and shared resources and opportunities that support the wellbeing of our students and community. Thank you for showing up for the CDCPS community and being part of these special events.
A big thank you as well to the Greater Lawrence Boathouse for hosting us and to every CDCPS staff member who helped plan, organize, set up, run activities, and make each day a fun and successful event. This would not have been possible without your hard work and school spirit!
We loved celebrating with you all and look forward to another great year ahead! ๐โค๏ธ๐

๐ What a perfect sunny June day for Field Day at Prospect Lower School and Upper School!
Students enjoyed an exciting day rotating through activity stations across campus, playing games, creating crafts, cooling off with snow cones, and making core memories with their classmates. Ribbons were awarded to top performers at each station, recognizing effort, participation, and teamwork!
The celebration wrapped up with campus wide student and staff basketball competitions, followed by an awards ceremony honoring outstanding students and staff members.
From start to finish, the day was filled with fun, community, and celebration. A huge thank you to our incredible staff for making this special day possible!

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, weโre reflecting on the amazing educators who make a difference every single day across the CDCPS campuses. These are just some of the faces behind the encouragement, support, patience, and care that help our students grow each day and weโre so grateful for the impact they make in our classrooms.
From teachers to specialists, counselors to support staff, CDCPS is fortunate to have so many dedicated educators shaping our community in meaningful ways. While Teacher Appreciation Week may be over, these educators deserve to be celebrated every single day. Thank you for everything you do!
